GENIUS IS PERSEVERANCE IN DISGUISE

It can be said with authority that genius is nothing without resolution. I have come across some of the smartest people you can imagine who are languishing in jobs not worthy of their enormous talent. Your genius is more your potential than you capacity and, you need to work at your genius to bring it to the surface through practice and focus attention. It is not enough to be a genius because many of them go their grave with nothing to show for their special talent. It is been wrongly assumed by the majority that geniuses don’t have to do much to accomplish something marvellous, which is fact further from the truth. Geniuses like most people have to work at developing their god given talents, in order to put it at the disposal of the world. The only advantage they might have is their predisposition to quickly learn or grasp the principle they are studying.

I have personally met some geniuses who have become drunk and homeless because they have not been able to resist alcohol and hard drugs. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, if you are not prepared to work hard with discipline and focus you are likely to end wasting your talent doing something not related to your talent. If you look around you, it is easy to see that most successful people don’t have any special talent and, have been able to achieve their goals by working hard with a burning desire for success. It been a genius is helpful, the strength of your desire is still the key factor in determining whether you have what it takes to overcome the obstacles standing in your way.

Do you know why many geniuses are broke and struggling in spite of all their talents? This is because most of them are so proud of the intellect but do not know how to become successful. It might surprise you to hear but I can assure that it is absolutely true. Having a powerful intellect is no akin to been successful or knowing how to be successful. Using your talent and directing in a specific way so you achieve success is another science which is not easily mastered by everyone. If genius is perseverance in disguise, geniuses have to be able not to analyse and using theories but to actually go out to put to test their knowledge to achieve a worthy goals. By finding the way to garner his special talent in order to help as much people as possible, a genius will become a successful one.

You don’t have to feel at a disadvantage just because you think you are not a genius, because it doesn’t matter as long as you are ready to work with diligence and application to achieve your goals. Being a genius does not mean that you are exempt from working at developing your talent or, that your talent will bring you anything you desire without work. Whether you are a genius or not, achieving your goals is determined by the strength of your desire and your level of motivation. Your motivation is fuelled by the reason you have decided to undertake the journey to achieving that particular goal. Looking at people like Rosalía Mera who left school at eleven years old to set the clothing store Zara and became a billionaire, it is safe to say that genius or not, success is achieved through perseverance.
