LEARN TO SERVE OTHERS

In your job, you are in a position to provide excellent service to customers on a daily basis and the question you need to ask yourself is: do I provide the kind of service I expect to get as a customer?

Customers come to you for a service every day and most of the time instead of giving them the best service you can, you simply see them as time wasters, and scroungers who are not worthy of your time. In order to punish them for wasting your time, you give them the worst possible customer service without having to compromise yourself. When you go out as a customer to purchase something or seek a service from a company over the phone, you are the first to complain about receiving a bad customer service.

You have to remember that bread cast upon water will always come back to you. If you spend your time offering mediocre services to your customers, do not be surprised to get the same kind of service as a customer wherever you go. You cannot expect to receive excellent customer service if you can’t give it to your customers.  If you want to receive something, give it first and it will be giving back to you. You cannot ask your employer to pay you before you work can you? You have to do the job to be rewarded for your effort and performance.

It doesn’t matter what you believe because, your customers deserve the best customer service you can provide. They might not be what you expect them to be but, don’t give them any less because the quality of the service they receive from you will determine what you will receive in the future.  If you want the best customer service, learn to give the best customer service whenever possible and you will rarely have to complain about bad service from others. Learn to serve others to the best of your abilities and you will be richly rewarded with excellent service from people you come into contact with as customer.
