WE ARE CONDITIONED TO WAIT FOR SUCCESS

Where you look you see people waiting for something to happen, if they are not waiting for the bus, they are standing in line waiting for their turn to be seen in some offices or shops. You are been conditioned to wait for things to happen since childhood, you waited to be told what to wear, what to eat and when to go to sleep. You are been conditioned to have little control over your life by those who were closest to you and, the result can be seen with a lot of people waiting in the hope that things will get better today or tomorrow. As you were programmed to thing and behave as if things will come your way if could just be patient and wait in hope, most people believe that the life they are living is not their doing. They strongly believe that circumstances outside of their control are responsible for what the life they are currently living.

Some people go as far as using religion to justify the fact they have to wait for things to work in their favour. You might have heard others use a line like “it was written” to explain why they are stuck in the rut. If you are not responsible for what is happening to you, if someone else is to blame, you will gladly wait for things to change since you believe that you have not input in the outcome. Are you living in hope of a better tomorrow? Are you praying and hoping for things to change one day? If that is your case you are not alone but the bad news is, if you don’t begin to make plan about how you are going to achieve your goals and take actions consistently to make them become reality nothing will happen.

You can keep praying and waiting until the end of times, your circumstances will not change. In fact things will go from bad to worse because you will become increasingly frustrated with the lack of result and blame even more people around you that might lead you to resign yourself to your circumstances and possible depression. The word hope is been used and abused by people who believe that it is well to hope and wait for things to happen. The problem here is they don’t understand that without action there is no hope. You will hope that all the actions you are taking in your effort to achieve your goals will produce the desire outcomes. This misconception stem from the fact that the hope is link to religion and most people think that because they are praying for God to change their life, there is nothing for them to do than wait.

It is a tragic to see so many talented people letting their life go to waste because they mistakenly believe that they are not responsible for their circumstances. The waiting game is widely practice by many who think it the only way to make things happen. They are still stuck in that mentality due to years of conditioning since childhood, they are still waiting for luck to come and save them from their struggle. The bad news is no one is going to come and save you and, it doesn’t matter how long you have been waiting. People have been praying, hoping and waiting all their life but, even though things are still not happening they are content to blame others for their circumstances and lack of results. They feel powerless and always find excuses to justify inaction, powerlessness is a conditioned pattern.
