DO NOT LIVE OUT OF YOUR HISTORY BUT YOUR IMAGINATION

If you have no control over your history because it is in the past, you have control over your imagination as you are a creative human being. Most people can spend their time talking to friends, relatives and colleagues about their misfortunes and their laborious past. They will spend hours trying to gain others sympathy about the bad things that happen to them, and the more you talk about your past problems the more you keep them alive in your life. You have to remember that you cannot change the past however hard you try but, you can do something in the present to influence the future. Living out of your history is the preferred game of so many who are not aware of the impact that behaviour will have on their circumstances.

You have the ability to create a perfect future for yourself with your imagination which is an extraordinary tool that allows you to create in your mind anything you want. In order to live your dream, you must first create it and the best way to create it in your mind is through your imagination. A man who conceived a wonderful piece of art died just before he received delivery of his order. When it was deliver to the family by the artist who made it, someone watching with amazement of its beauty exclaimed that it was unfortunate that the dead man did not live to see the result of the beautiful art. The artist who was standing nearby listened and told the admirer that the man actually saw it before placing the order. He was the first to see it that is the reason the finished product was made, it was sculpted according to the vision of his originator.

Two men were jailed for five years for a crime they committed, one of them chose to wallow in self-pity and resigned himself to living like a damned. The other one decided to fight his circumstances with his imagination, by making plan to have a different life at his release. Every day, he will imagine the new life he wanted and the kind of business he wanted to own, the house, the area, his perfect wife and the kind of friends he desired to make. Every single day like a clockwork, he will retreat to a corner of his cell to imagine his ideal life and how he was going to work to achieve and live it. He was so motivated that he never missed a day without his ritual and, kept adding new pieces to the puzzle.

He stuck to that routine until his release from prison where an old friend help him by giving him a job. He started saving and put his plan into action by starting a part time business on the site after his day job. He dedicated all is free time building his new venture so much so that in six months, he was making his monthly salary in a week. He quit his day job after a year to work full time on his business. He used his imagination to transform his life from a jailbird to a wealthy man.
