HOW FAILING CAN BRING YOU CLOSER TO YOUR GOAL

Having a setback is not a failure but a learning experience that can be converted into something positive. When you talk to anyone who has achieved any level of success will tell you that to succeed you will have more setbacks compare to the average person.  Failing can be defined as making the conscious decision to abandon or give up on an endeavour. In light of this definition, you only fail when you give on your goals because you have become convinced that you would not be able to achieve them.  It is time you pay attention to the right people, to what those who have succeeded and hear their views on failure.

The impression most people have is that having setbacks make their journey to their goals long and arduous but, the reality is completely different from the fiction. The challenges you meet on your way to your goals are designed to test your resolve, teach you many things about you and make you grow into a better person. More importantly, every time you have a setback, you learn about yourself and the world around you. This learned knowledge even in difficult times takes you closer to your goals.

We have been programmed since childhood to believe that we should not make mistakes otherwise, we become failure in society. What those who gave you that information forgot to tell you is that most people learned by making mistakes. So if you not making any mistakes how are you learning?  Not making mistakes is not learning, not learning is not growing and the impression of not growing is reinforced by the lack of challenge. If you are trying to lead this type of lives, you are making your life uninteresting and insipid.

You should never be afraid to fail because it one of the surest way to learn about yourself and the process you are using. You cannot feel alive if you are not learning and growing. When you stop yourself from making mistakes, you also stop yourself from growing and even living. If you are not growing, you are dying not physically but the result of the ensuing process if not stop might even lead to a physical death.

Never be afraid to fail because your successes and failures made you who you are. When you decide to live, you cannot stop yourself from making mistakes because they make you stronger and wiser. Life is a continuous learning experience and the only way to stop making mistakes is to stop living. The road to your goals is made of obstacles you have to overcome to reach the promise land; sometimes you will fail in your attempt to clear the way but as long as you keep learning from your mistakes and do not give up, you will achieve your goals.

As long as you are sure to be on the right track, you should not worry about time and the number of obstacles you have to overcome because you will eventually get there. Be strong in your resolve and keep moving forward despite the setbacks and you will succeed despite all your failures.
